Feedback Version 4.162beta

  • This thread obsolete because a newer beta patch was released. Please write in the sticked thread after updating to the latest version.
According to your crash: Open the Renaissance directory on your harddrive where you'll find a callstack.log and upload it here (this forum) when ever your game crashs. Befor I forget: Happened the crash at midnight and you're running a 32-bit Windows? If you can anwser both with yes then there is a fix in the sticked technical FAQ in this forum.
What I would do in your case would be to wait until v4.165b gets realeased this week, then update to it and forget about the crashed game if you haven't any older saves where you can continue from.

an updated one.. it happened again.. it happen when i load game..

  • ChrisJason: Please don't copy the content of these files into the board, but attach them to your post (you have to rename them to .txt files then).
Unfortunately the logfile is useless. What would be important is the logfile that has been generated after a crash during gameplay, not during loading the game.

    Also, please answer Killerhuehnchens questions:

  • Oh.. sorry... The game didn't exactly show any error messages.. it just close by itself.. I didn't obtain any error code or whatsoever.. I did answer Killerhuehnchens questions.

Since a few hours ago, I have been getting the error over and over again.. Please help... It seems to happen sometimes when I load back my save files...

    Sorry, I overlooked it :/

The problem is that the callstack doesn't say anything usefull. Does the error also occur with a newly started game (and with the same frequency)?
What version of the game (Steam, Download or retail) do you use?
Are your graphics drivers up to date?

My friend pass it to me.. I'm not sure where he get it from... But I update it myself from the forum...

Errr.. This problem only arise in 4.162.. Before that, I have no such problem.. I have just downloaded the latest version.. Hopefully the error dun occur again.. and I have to start all from scratch again.. T.T

My graphics driver are up to date.. There's no doubt there...
