Hey there,

Could you grab the specifics from the windows system log?

Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer

Save the log after you get an error, and put it on Pastebin or here if you must.

Since it appears to be overwriting, you may want to try right clicking on the .ini and selecting "Read Only".

This should keep the file from being written too, so look out for other possible bugs later on.
